Upper School Mask Making

Seventh and Eighth Graders designed three-dimensional masks with the challenge of using materials to create movement when the masks are worn. The process included using cardboard, newspaper, plastic containers, tubes and tape to form the shapes, and papier mache to sculpt and secure the forms. Masks were then painted and elaborately enhanced with many different materials. The masks are now on exhibit in the Stevens Building.
